Bentwater's covenants require all unimproved lots to be mowed and weedeated around trees and fences a minimum of four times a year.
2018 Mow Dates:
Unimproved Lots are considered to be lots with no structures. Exceptions to these mow dates are granted under certain circumstances:
1. The lot is used to grow and harvest hay and you've informed us of that fact.
2. The lot is fenced and used for animal grazing (fence line and road ditches need to be regularly trimmed)
Mowing Lots with Structures:
Lots with structures are required to follow the rules of duty of maintenance and a regular mowing schedule in order to keep a neat, clean appearance. Weekly rounds are made by our compliance officer in order to inspect for mowing and other maintenance issues.
Pollinator and Wildflower Conservation: You may apply to have parts of your lots noted as being a conservation area for wildflowers in order to support our native species of Antelope Milkweed, Bluebonnet, Indian Paintbrush, Mexican hat, and other native wildflowers until they have dispersed their seed. You must maintain perimeter mowing around your home, fenceline, driveways, and road ditches. If you would like to apply for a conservation permit, click here. to take the Mayor's Monarch Pledge
